Doctor's Background
Graduated with an MBBS from The University of Adelaide, Australia in 1998 and subsequently completed his post-graduate training (M.Med, Internal Medicine) in 2006 and sub-specialty training in Nephrology in 2009 at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre.
He underwent a clinical fellowship in renal transplantation at the National University Hospital, Singapore in 2009.
Dr Rashidi also has a strong passion for medical education. He was a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, UKM before joining the School of Medicine, Universiti Malaysia Sabah as an Associate Professor.
Currently, he is affiliated with Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer.
Dr Rashidi has published several articles in international journals and participated in several research projects in the field of nephrology and systemic lupus erythematosus.
He serves as a council member of the Malaysian Society of Nephrology and a life member of the Persatuan SLE Malaysia and the Malaysian Medical Association.
